Gardenia bread is one of the many products that are owned by QAF, a public-listed organisation. You may have first-hand experience of the product’s quality as one of its customers.

Question 1a

Discuss QAF with a short essay of not more than 300 words (indicate your word count at the end of your answer) based on the following:

  • Profile/background and history, products and services, customers and/or markets served;
  • Two (2) ways, with relevant examples, how QAF (focus only on Gardenia bread) differentiates itself from its competitors in the “bread” business. For example, it can be differentiated by offering unique products or services to attract customers, or by its innovative operations, etc.

Question 1b

Illustrate an excellent achievement of QAF either from awards won or from a positive media coverage (references required), and which is based on one (1) of the following areas:

  • Business Excellence,
  • Service Excellence,
  • Operational Excellence, or
  • People Excellence.

Relate two (2) suggestions on how the subject’s business could use digital technologies and/or automation to create innovations that will enhance corporate social responsibility effort.  Your answer must not be more than 400 words (indicate word count at the end of the answer).

With reference to Question 3 in Section A, assume that you are the Business Consultant of your subject. You are to prepare a video presentation to the subject’s top management on the following:

  • Demonstrate two (2) possibilities on how customers of your chosen subject could be involved in generating innovative ideas to enhance competitiveness.
  • Relate two (2) suggestions on how the subject’s business could use digital technologies and/or automation to create innovations that will enhance corporate social responsibility effort.

Note: Your video presentation should be based on the answer that you have provided in Question 3 in Section A.
